Unbranded reporting

Unbranded reports for white label link building

A client-ready placement record you can present under your own name, plus a guide to what any vendor's report should show.

  • No vendor branding on the file
  • One row for every placement
  • Built to check against the live page

What should a client-ready link report contain?

A good report lets someone who was not involved in the order see exactly what was done. For every placement, the record should hold these fields:

  • Target URL. The page on your client's site that the link points to.
  • Live URL. The page on the host site where the link appears.
  • Anchor. The clickable words used for the link.
  • Date placed. The day the link went live.
  • Host type. A plain description of the host, such as a local business site, a regional publication or a trade resource.

Rows are grouped by client and by target page. If you need an extra column, ask, and we will say whether it is practical.

What does unbranded mean in practice?

Unbranded means our name, logo and contact details do not appear in the file. You can drop the rows into your own template, add your own cover page and send the result to your client as your work.

The file format and column order are agreed when your account is set up. If your clients expect a specific layout, tell us at the start and we will match it where we can. To see the layout before you open an account, message us on WhatsApp and ask. Reporting comes with every account described on wholesale programs.

How should an agency present the report to its own client?

Keep it factual. Clients trust a plain record more than a polished story.

  • Open with what was ordered and why, in a sentence or two.
  • List the placements by target page, so the client sees which pages received support.
  • Describe the work as link building done in the period, not as a ranking result.
  • Keep your own rank and traffic tracking in a separate section, reported honestly with its own dates.
  • State that live pages are re-checked on a schedule you set.

A report is only as useful as it is accurate, so verify it. Sample a few rows every month, or every row on a new account. For each one, open the live URL, find the link and confirm that it points to the target URL with the anchor listed. Check that the page loads, that the link attributes match what was agreed and that the page is still indexed. Tell us about any difference on WhatsApp the same day.

Hosts can edit or remove pages, so a link that was live last month may not be live now, and the record should be updated when that happens. The same routine is described in how to choose a link vendor and works on any supplier's files.

Risks and limits: what a report does and does not show

A placement report documents work. It does not measure outcomes and it is not evidence that any ranking will move. Links are one signal among many, and results depend on the client's site, the competition and the category. Do not present a report to a client as proof of performance.

Sharing live URLs also tells your client which hosts were used, and that is your decision as the agency. Remember too that buying or exchanging links for ranking purposes can go against Google's spam policies on link schemes. Careful, relevant, editorial-style placements reduce that risk but do not remove it, so tell clients plainly what link building involves before you start.

Questions about local link vendor in United States

Does the report show rankings or traffic?

No. It records placements: target URL, live URL, anchor, date placed and host type. Rankings and traffic come from your own tracking tools and depend on many factors beyond links. We keep the two apart on purpose, so the report stays a factual record of work done rather than a claim about results.

Can I put my own logo on it?

Yes. The file carries no branding from us, so you can add your logo, cover page and colors, or paste the rows into your own template. If your layout needs a different column order, ask when your account is set up.

How soon after a placement does a row appear?

The timing is agreed with your account contact, because it depends on the order size and how often you want updates. Some agencies want rows as each link goes live, others prefer a monthly file. Tell us which you prefer on WhatsApp and we will say what we can support before you place a first order.

What happens if a link is removed later?

Tell us as soon as you notice, with the live URL and the date you checked. We look at what happened and explain the options on WhatsApp. The terms for this are written and explained before your first order, so you know where you stand in advance. We cannot control a host that edits or removes a page, which is why periodic re-checks matter.

Can I see the report layout before I open an account?

Yes. Message us on WhatsApp and ask to see the layout. We will explain the columns and the formats we can supply. Reviewing your request is free, and a written quote is given and explained before anyone pays. You can compare the layout with other vendors' files before you decide.
